VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Power crews are replacing downed lines and other damaged equipment after an incident with a dump truck Monday afternoon.

Robert Richardson with Dominion Virginia Power said power lines near the intersection of Grayson Road and Corporate Woods Drive are down after an incident with a dump truck interfered with the lines.

Crews have to replace a transformer and some wire, but the poles are okay. Only 14 customers have been impacted.

Dominion was notified of the problem around 3:15 p.m., and Richardson said restoration is expected sometime between 6 and 8 p.m.

Virginia Beach dispatchers say no one was injured because of the incident.
