K-9 nabs burglary suspect in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A homeowner called police when they heard someone walking in their home early Monday morning and a K-9 helped catch the suspect.

According to Norfolk Police, a homeowner called 911 around 3:30 a.m. about someone walking around inside their home in the 800 block of Brandon Avenue. When officers arrived, they apprehended the suspect.

Hung Tran, 28, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering.
