Police seek VB credit card theft suspect

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police are searching for a suspect they believe was involved in a purse theft that occurred in April.

MPO Lonnie Cain with Virginia Beach Police said the victim’s purse was stolen on April 24, 2014 from the Miller Mart on Independence Boulevard.

Cain said the suspect later attempted to use the victim’s credit cards at the Bank of America located on Haygood Road, and was photographed by the ATM.

Police believe the suspect may be connected to other larcenies in Virginia Beach.

The case is under investigation with Detective A. Fletcher of the Department’s Property Crimes Unit as the lead investigator.
