Vehicle windows smashed in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Several vehicles in Chesapeake were vandalized Thursday morning.

Just after 3 a.m., a police officer saw two juveniles running in the 1800 block of Varsity Drive. At the same time, he heard a car alarm going off. Other officers joined in his pursuit for the juvenile suspects, but they could not locate them, according to police spokesperson Kelly O’Sullivan.

The vehicle with the activated alarm had its window smashed. Two other vehicles, in the 2800 block of Southport Ave. and the 1300 block of Bassett Street also had their windows smashed.
