VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach detectives need the public’s help identifying the man they believe is responsible for several credit card thefts.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 18 to 25-years-old, and he is believed to drive a silver or gold sedan, possibly a Chevy, according to James Cason with the Virginia Beach Police Department.

In each case, the suspect is believed to have broken into a vehicle in the overnight hours to steal wallets and credit cards. Then he allegedly used the credit cards in the early morning hours, usually at a local Wal-Mart or convenience store, Cason said.

If you can identify the suspect or vehicle in the above photos, please contact Virginia Beach Police or call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
