Suffolk city vehicle hits school bus

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A vehicle belonging to the City of Suffolk hit the back of a school bus Thursday morning.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the crash happened around 8:40 a.m. along Portsmouth Boulevard near Nansemond Parkway. The city vehicle hit the back of the bus in the left turn lane.

Only one student was on the bus at the time and there were no injuries.

One lane of Portsmouth Boulevard was closed as crews removed the vehicles.
