RICHMOND, Va. (WAVY) – Voters in Virginia’s first congressional district will choose between two candidates to pick the Republican candidate for Congress Tuesday.
Rob Wittman and Anthony Riedel are on the ballot for Tuesday’s primary in Virginia. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Wittman, the incumbent, was first elected to Congress in 2007 and is a member of the Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Natural Resources.
Riedel lives in Williamsburg and is a public relations specialist for the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation.
