NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The swimming advisory at Ocean View Park Beach was lifted Wednesday afternoon.

The Norfolk Department of Public Health issued the advisory Tuesday.

The health department tested the water and found a high bacteria level at Ocean View Park. That’s between Seabreeze Road and First View Street. Those who swim there could get sick

Health officials say took more samples and determined it is safe to swim there again.
