Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) visited Fort Pickett on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 to discuss the announced Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC) with Adjutant General, Brigadier General Williams and his Fort Pickett leadership, as well as The State Department.

Congressman Forbes met with officials from Nottoway County and received a tour of the planned FASTC site at Fort Pickett.

The placement of a new Foreign Affairs Security Training Center at Fort Pickett is not only an important economic development project for Nottoway County and Virginia, but also critical to ensuring the safety of Americans serving abroad in our embassies,” said Congressman Forbes.
