HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – One woman was taken to the hospital after a crash that led to her vehicle hitting a home’s porch Saturday night.

Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division said it started with a two-vehicle crash that happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Big Bethel Road in Hampton.

Officers arrived on scene and learned a sedan that was headed east on Lassiter Drive crashed into a pickup truck that was driving south on Big Bethel Road. The sedan hit the front porch of a home on Big Bethel Road, and came to a stop.

It is unclear whether or not anyone was in the home at the time of the crash.

The woman driving the sedan was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Price said she is currently in critical, but stable, condition.

The crash is still under investigation.
