WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives in Williamsburg are trying to identify the last of three suspects in an armed robbery in April.
Around 5:30 p.m. on April 20, officers responded to a robbery in the 200 block of Second Street, according to Major Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department.
The victim said he was robbed of cash at gunpoint by three men near the 700 block of North Henry Street. The suspects then got into a black Chevy and fled the area. All were described as tall black males, about 20 to 25 years of age.
The victim drove away from the scene to an area of safety before contacting police.
Riley said two of the suspects have been identified and both are in police custody, charged with robbery, use of firearm and conspiracy.
25-year-old Lamar Wallace of Williamsburg turned himself in at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail on April 24 around 10 a.m. 25-year-old Steve Lorenzo Olvis of James City County turned himself in at the jail on June 6 around 12:30 p.m.
Both are being held without bond.
