Suspect unidentified in debit card theft

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk police need the public’s help identifying and locating the suspect in a stolen debit card investigation.

Around 3:30 a.m. on May 12, the suspect purchased a gift card using a stolen debit card at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in the 6200 block of College Drive, according to Diana Klink with Suffolk police.

The debit card was reported stolen by the victim later that morning when he discovered it missing from his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20’s to middle 30’s, wearing a baseball hat, eye glasses, white shirt, black pants, and dress shoes. He drove away from the store in what is described as red four-door sedan.
