Serial shoplifter hits Wal-Mart stores in VB

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police say a serial shoplifter is stealing some interesting items from Wal-Mart stores throughout the city.

MPO Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the same suspect is wanted in six different shoplifting cases:

  • Jan. 13, 2014 – Wal-Mart at 657 Phoenix Drive
  • Feb. 15, 2014 – Wal-Mart at 657 Phoenix Drive
  • May 2 – Wal-Mart at 2021 Lynnhaven Parkway
  • May 9 – Wal-Mart at 3201 Holland Road
  • May 18 – Wal-Mart at 657 Phoenix Drive
  • May 26 – Wal-Mart at 3201 Holland Road

The suspect has stolen steaks, frozen chicken nuggets, frozen fish and laundry detergent. Borman said the total value is more than $1,200.
