Norfolk combine features area’s best high school football recruits

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – This is the time of the year college recruiters keep their eyes open, and a number of high school football potentials are trying to open some eyes.

The “Best of 757” football camp helps to provide the means for recruits in the area to increase their stock.

The camp has seen Oscar Smith defensive tackle Andrew Brown, who earned National Gatorade Player of the Year honors, Lake Taylor defensive end and Ohio State-bound Jaylen Holmes, and Bishop Sullivan quarterback Blake LaRussa, who broke the South Hampton Roads passing record.

A main point of this camp is to give the “unsung heroes” a chance to stand out.
