NC launches “Vet Tip Hotline”

Review on deaths at Hampton Veterans Affairs

NORTH CAROLINA (WAVY) – In light of the scandal surrounding Veterans Affairs, the North Carolina Division of Veterans Affairs has launched a “Vet Tip Hotline.”

The hotline will give Veterans and federal employees a resource to report misconduct within USVA facilities confidentially. The hotline can be access via phone at 1-844-NC4-Vets or email at VetTips@DOA.NC.GOV.

“Hundreds of thousands of veterans have received care from dedicated USVA employees at medical facilities in North Carolina,” said NCVA Director Ilario Pantano. “Our goal, first and foremost, is to care for our North Carolina veterans, and as their advocate, I want to help the USVA get back on track.”
