Deputies investigate woman’s sexual assault

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Deputies are searching for two men who reportedly sexually assaulted a woman over the weekend.

According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened Saturday morning between 2 am. And 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lightning Loop and Nighthawk Way in the Bethel Manor Langley Air Force Base Housing area.

The victim told deputies she was walking from the area of the 1st Street Gate after being dropped off by a taxi when she was attacked from behind by two unknown men.

One of the suspects was described as a light-skinned black or Hispanic male with a scar on his right hand, from the knuckle of his index finger across the back of his hand. No description of the other suspect was available.
