Robbery reported at First Landing State Park

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a parking attendant at First Landing State Park Wednesday morning.

MPO Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said one suspect approached the employee at the entrance to 64th Street First Landing State Park around 7:20 a.m. and “produced an item that the employee believed to be a handgun” and demanded money.

The suspect was able to flee on foot into the woods toward 64th Street with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen getting into a white SUV driven by another suspect.

The first suspect was described as a white male in his early 20s standing 5’7” to 6’ and weighing about 180 pounds. He had short dark hair and was wearing a white crewneck undershirt at the time of the robbery.

The second suspect, the one driving the SUV, was described as a white male in his mid to late 20s standing 5’10” to 6’ with a slender build and short dropped dark hair. He had a circular tattoo with writing inside on his upper arm and was wearing tan shorts, no shirt and a large, dark wristband.
