Four charged in pizza delivery driver robbery

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Four people, including two juveniles, have been charged in connection to a robbery involving a pizza delivery driver.

The robbery happened earlier in the month in the 100 block of Motoka Drive. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, told police she was making a delivery when she saw three male suspects. One of the suspects was wearing a ski mask and pointed a handgun at her while demanding everything she had.

The three fled on foot after receiving cash and pizzas.

Four suspects were identified thanks to a Crime Line tip, Holly McPherson with the Newport News Police Department said. Alexander Rashad Turner, 24, Eric Hill, 21, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were all arrested.

Turner was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon, wearing a mask, two counts of conspiracy and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Hill was charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of conspiracy.

The teens were charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and two counts of conspiracy.
