Men attacked by stray cat in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Two people were treated at a local hospital after they were attacked by a cat on the same Suffolk street.

The first victim was bitten on the hand by the cat shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday, in the 8000 block of Harbour View Boulevard. A couple hours later, another person was scratched on the leg by a stray cat on the same block.

Both male victims were treated at Bon Secours.

Animal Control was called out and was able to find the cat in question. The animal will be tested for rabies.
