Know the signs: What to do in case of a stroke

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Two million brain cells die every minute during a stroke, increasing the risk of permanent brain damage, disability or death.

Since May is National Stroke Awareness Month, we’re learning more about stroke risk factors, awareness and prevention. Dr. John Baker, medical director of the Bon Secours Hampton Roads Neurovascular Center, joined us with some helpful advice when it comes to dealing with a stroke.
