NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police say two men were shot in Norfolk Wednesday evening.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in the 600 block of West 28th Street. Daniel Hudson with Norfolk Police said Wednesday night officers and paramedics arrived at the scene to find a man and a 17-year-old boy with gunshot wounds.

Thursday afternoon, Hudson said the investigator later determined the 17-year-old victim was actually and adult male and not a teenager. Both were transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening.

Detectives are investigating the incident, but currently have no information on possible suspects or motives.
