Woman stabbed, robbed in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Investigators are looking for any information about the man they say wounded and robbed a woman in Norfolk Wednesday evening.

Around 9:15 p.m., dispatchers received a 911 call about a woman who had been stabbed and robbed in the 1500 block of Selden Avenue, according to Karen Parker-Chesson with Norfolk Police.

The victim had injures that were not life-threatening, but she was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Parker-Chesson said the suspect was described as a black man, about 5′ 7″, wearing blue jeans and a white polo shirt with stripes.
