Vacationer falls victim to credit card theft

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A victim in Virginia Beach on vacation had their wallet and credit cards stolen at a campground.
The crime happened April 24 at the KOA campground on General Booth Boulevard. MPO James Cason with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the victim discovered their wallet had been taken from their vehicle during the overnight hours.

Later that day, the suspect(s) used one of the victim’s credit cards at a Virginia Beach convenience store. They may have been driving a dark SUV.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call the Crime line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
