The Harborfest is offering a variety of entertainment options for the whole family and while the musical entertainment and ships will keep your interests, you will want to take a look at the list below for some unusual and unique entertainment options to add some variety and even a little adventure into your weekend!

NEW! S.E.A Hamsters

Walk on water along the waterfront with S.E.A. Hamsters 6 foot human hamster balls. Test your skills walking, rolling, and tumbling around the pool on the water’s surface with up to 4 Hamster balls at once. The S.E.A Hamster professionals will be demonstrating the human hamster balls in the Elizabeth River at select times throughout the festival.

NEW! Boardwalk Arcade

Vintage arcade games will be along the Norfolk Waterfront so you can revisit your memories of the Boardwalk with classic games like Pacman, Skee Ball and more, all completely free to play!

NEW! Cabana Land and Hammock Hangout 

With so many awesome things to see and things to do, it is easy to get a little tuckered out at Harborfest. That’s why you can’t miss Cabana Land and the Hammock Hangout; your perfect excuse to kick back and relax during the festival weekend while
still being in the center of the action.

NEW! Seaworthy Small Ships

Build your very own model boat for a small fee and see if she is truly seaworthy as you test her out on the open seas. By open seas we mean a large wading pool where the conditions are always right for sailing and racing your friends.

NEW! The Yorktown Waterman’s Museum

The craft of boat building is a long honored activity that has been practiced along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay for hundreds of years- come watch as local waterman build a 14 foot skiff and participate in an underwater archeological dig using an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV).

NEW! The USAF Heritage of America Band –presents “Turning the Tide” – a unique program that honors our American military heroes on the 70th anniversary of invasion of Normandy (D-Day). The presentation includes poignant narratives from local WWII veterans, moving patriotic selections, and great music from the WWII Big Band era.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s OBX Jet Pak! After being featured on HBO’s Eastbound & Down and flying the Weather Channel’s Morning News Team they are back at Harborfest 2014 with more high flying tricks and stunts on the Elizabeth River in
partnership with Kitty Hawk Kites paddle boarding and a special flight with the Wounded Warrior Project.

Lucky Bob Lucky Bob – will entertain, mystify and keep you wanting more. Providing a total variety show that includes magic, juggling, comedy, and audience interaction strolling through the park for the weekend. With his uncanny magical, juggling skills LuckyBob takes the audience on a roller coaster of laughs, cheers and smiles. 100% family fun entertainment!

Pirate Bandana Making and Moody Crewe Pirate School – Craft yourself the appropriate swashbuckling attire at the Pirate Bandana Tent and then set sail into a class at the Moody Crewe Pirate School where you will learn how to live the shipshape pirate’s life … Yo Ho Yo Ho a pirate’s life for me.

Tiki Barge – Your dock party is waiting at this year’s Harborfest! The best of both worlds come together at the floating Harborfest Party Dock located in the Waterside marina. This floating dock & tropical tiki bar offers the fun of your back deck party within the heart of region’s largest maritime celebration.
