Man sentenced in child pornography case

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A 29-year-old man will spend more than a decade behind bars for possessing child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Marcus Warrick, 29, of Virginia Beach was sentenced to 150 months followed by lifetime supervised release. Warrick was found guilty of receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography in February by a federal jury.

Evidence presented at the trial showed a search warrant was executed on his computer in November and more than 400 videos and images of child pornography were found. Warrick installed numerous file-sharing programs to actively sought out the pornography.
