Woman robbed at gunpoint in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Police need help finding two men who robbed a woman at gunpoint in Virginia Beach and used her credit card at an ATM Friday night.

MPO Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the robbery happened just before 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Tivoli Apartments located at 1207 Tivoli Crescent. The suspect tapped on the victim’s window, displayed a gun and robbed her of her purse before she was able to get out of her vehicle.

C2About half an hour later, the victim’s credit card was used at a Navy Federal Credit Union ATM located at 7979 Hampton Blvd. in Norfolk.

Police originally referred to one suspect, but around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday said there were two suspects.

One suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion in his late 30s to late 40s, standing 5’11” to 6’1 and weighing between 140 pounds to 150 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball hat, black shirt and black jeans at the time of the robbery. He has tattoos on his left and right arm as well as scarring on his right arm.

The second suspect is described as a black male of a medium complexion standing 5’10″ to 6’2″ and weighing 190 to 220 pounds.
