Employee charged in restaurant burglary

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Police have arrested on suspect and needs help finding two others in a burglary investigation.

Cpl. Shackelford with the Hampton Police Division said the burglary occurred at the Queens Way Soul Café in the 1100 block of Big Bethel Road shortly before midnight Sunday.

Three suspects entered the business through the front door, which was found to have been left unlocked on purpose by an employee. Once inside, they stole a safe that contained an undisclosed amount of money.

The employee, identified as Jeule Requita Epps, 23, of Hampton was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny. Two other unknown male suspects are also wanted.

Anyone with information on the identities of the other suspects and their whereabouts is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
