Norfolk Police search for Walgreens robber

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk Police need help identifying a man who robbed a Walgreens over the weekend.

Daniel Hudson with the Norfolk Police Department said the robbery occurred at the Walgreens located at 8609 Tidewater Drive around 10:15 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect entered the store and displayed something that looked like a handgun, Hudson said. The suspect then demanded money before he was able to flee on foot.

He is described as a white male in his mid-20s, weighing about 170 pounds to 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, black shoes and a white baseball hat.

No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
