Suspect lifts $1K in Rogaine, teeth whitening strips

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach Police need help identifying a man who stole $1,000 in hair and teeth whitening products.

MPO Tonya Borman with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the theft occurred April 17 at the Walgreens in the 1100 block of Nimmo Parkway.

The suspect walked into the store around 7:30 a.m., went straight to the hair product aisle, and put a box of Rogaine and teeth whitening strips into a plastic bag. Police say he then walked out of the store without paying.

Borman said the value of the products was more than $1,000. He’s described as a black male and was wearing a black baseball cap, gray sweatshirt with a stripe across the chest and dark pants at the time of the incident.
