Teens robbed in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A group of teens was robbed at gunpoint by two suspects over the weekend.

Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department said four victims ranging in age from 15 to 19 were approached by the suspects in the area of Pocahontas Avenue and Cullen Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and both demanded money and cell phones from the victims. The suspects fled the scene in a dark sedan.

The suspects were described as black males about 17 or 18 years of age, standing about 6’ and wearing gray.
