Suspects identified in Williamsburg robbery

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – Police in Williamsburg have identified two suspects wanted for an April 20 robbery.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Second Street that evening. The victim told them he was robbed at gunpoint by three men, near the 700 block of N. Henry Street. After taking the man’s money, the suspects drove away in a black Chevy.

Police have identified two of the suspects, as 25-year-old Lamar Wallace and 25-year-old Steve Lorenzo Olvis. They were each charged with robbery, use of a firearm and conspiracy. Wallace turned himself in to police on April 24 and is being held without bond. Olvis has not been arrested yet. Police are still working to identify the third suspect.

Williamsburg Police confirmed Wallace and Olvis are also wanted by the York County Sheriff’s office for similar offenses.
