Man sought in York County robbery

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Deputies are looking for a man wanted in connection to a robbery in York County last week.

Lt. Dennis Ivey with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said the robbery occurred April 19 in the 100 block of Bypass Road. The victim was robbed of money, his identification and wallet.

Deputies were flagged down and told the suspects fled in a black Chevrolet Impala.

The investigation led deputies to two suspects – Lamar Wallace and Steve Olvis. Wallace was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery, participant in the 2nd degree.

Olvis remains at large at this time. He is wanted on charges of robbery, conspiracy and use or display a firearm in a felony.
