Gunshot victim transported in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a man was shot in Norfolk Wednesday evening.

Around 9:10 p.m., the Norfolk Emergency Operations received a 911 call about a gunshot victim in the 100 block of Sterling Court, according to Officer Daniel Hudson with the Norfolk Police Department.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound that appeared to not be life-threatening. The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
