SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Kristen Lane is back open after a gas leak in Suffolk Wednesday.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said a contractor doing work in the 140 block of Kristen Lane in the Burnett’s Mill subdivision damaged a gas line.

Virginia Natural Gas crews were called to the scene, and detours were established. Kristen Lane was back open by 10:31 a.m., after Klink said crews repaired the gas line.

Klink said no evacuations were required, and no one was hurt.
