Man robs Hampton credit union

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Hampton Police need help identifying a suspect who robbed a credit union Friday morning.

It happened around 9:40 a.m. at the Bayport Credit Union in the 2300 block of Cunningham Drive. The suspect handed a teller a note demanding money and did not display or imply a weapon.

The suspect was able to flee on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.

He is described as a black male in his mid-40s standing 5’10 to 6’ wearing blue coveralls, square-framed glasses, a small bandage of the left side of his face and a New York Yankees hat in a light blue color.
