SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was flown to a local hospital after a shooting in Downtown Suffolk Wednesday evening.
The shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of South 4th Street and East Washington Street, according to Diana Klink with Suffolk Police.
“The preliminary investigation indicates a male subject, approximately 30 years of age, was shot several times,” Klink said.
The vicim was flown by Life Evac to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment, but the extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
