McAuliffe visits Eastern Shore

Stephanie Harris reports on McAuliffe's visit in Hampton Roads

EASTERN SHORE, Va. (WAVY) – Gov. Terry McAuliffe is spending Tuesday on the Eastern Shore.

McAuliffe is making his first stop in Melfa at the Eastern Shore Community College, where he’ll give remarks at the “State of the Shore” event.

Next, he’ll travel to the Onley Community Health Center as well as Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox to talk about closing the health coverage gap. McAuliffe is calling on House Republicans to expand Medicaid in Virginia.

Later in the afternoon, McAuliffe will give remarks at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel on the Cape Charles side of the bridge-tunnel.
