Delivery driver robbed of pizza at gunpoint

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver Monday afternoon.

Just before 12:30 p.m., a female delivery driver for Domino’s Pizza was making a delivery in the 600 block of Matthews Court when she realized the residence was vacant, according to Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk.

The victim told police a man approached her and pointed a handgun at her before stealing the pizzas and her cell phone. The suspect started running from the scene and was joined by a second man, Klink said.

The victim was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
