JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Two men are facing charges after police say they stole the company credit card and used it to buy gas for their personal vehicles, spending more than $10,000.

Maj. Steve Rubino with the James City County Police Department said the suspects, Michael Wayne Webb, 41, of York County and James Alan Donnell, 31, of Gloucester County were facing charges of credit card theft and conspiracy to commit credit card theft. Both are felonies.

Police say the pair stole the credit card from the landscaping business they worked at and used it to buy $15,000 in gas in their own vehicles between October 2012 and February 2014.

The card was canceled, but because of a clerical error, the card continued to work.
