SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police have charged two men in connection to burglaries at two credit unions.
Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the burglaries occurred at the Metropolitan Church Federal Credit Union on County Street Feb. 8 and the Northern Star Credit Union on Harbour View Boulevard March 27. A burglary tool was left at the second burglary.
Rashaun Hardy, 21, of Portsmouth is facing charges of two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, two counts of grand larceny, two counts of possession of burglarious tools, two counts of destruction of property, burning building while committing a felony, conspiracy to commit a felony and attempt to commit non-capital offense.
Additionally, Tyreese D’Andrae Darden, 22, of Suffolk was charged in connection to the Northern Star burglary. He’s charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, destruction of property, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy to commit a felony and two counts grand larceny.
Both are being held at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
