NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person was taken to the hospital Friday following a two-vehicle crash in Norfolk.

Officer Daniel R. Hudson with the Norfolk Police Department said the crash happened around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of E. Princess Anne Road and Azalea Garden Road.

Hudson said a preliminary investigation determined one vehicle rear-ended another vehicle, and that speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash.

One of the drivers was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries.

Hudson told WAVY.com it is unclear at this time whether either driver will be charged.

The crash is still under investigation.
