Victim robbed at VB ATM

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Someone forced a person to withdraw cash from an ATM in Virginia Beach over the weekend and police want to find out who it was.

MPO James Cason with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the robbery occurred at the ATM at the Wells Fargo at 4287 Holland Rd. around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

The suspect implied they had a weapon and forced the victim to withdraw an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot toward Timberlake Shopping Center.

The incident was captured on surveillance. Anyone who has information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
