Two accused of stealing guns in burglary

PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) – Deputies were able to catch two suspects in connection to a burglary last week.

Around 11 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to the 800 block of Tinkaloe Road in the Elizabeth City section of Pasquotank County for a burglary in progress. A description of the suspects went out and they were spotted and taken into custody.

Deputies said they found four backpacks with electronics and 11 long guns in the possession of the two suspects. They were taken into custody and charged.

Rasheen Jerome Arnold, 19, of the 700 block of Trinkaloe Road was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen property and 11 counts of larceny of a firearm. He was put in jail on a $21,000 bond.

Darian Regina Dillard, 21, of the 1100 block of Wood Street was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen property and 11 counts of larceny of a firearm. She was also put in jail on a $21,000 bond.

Deputies believe they may be able to clear three other breaking and entering cases possibly connected to this one.
