Bria Kelly enters the battle rounds on “The Voice”

SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) – Local singing sensation Bria Kelly steps back into the spotlight Monday night.

The Smithfield 18-year-old will enter the battle rounds on NBC’s “The Voice”.

All four coaches turned around when Bria sang during the blind auditions. She performed her rendition of James Taylor’s “Steamroller Blues”.

Kelly chose Usher as her coach.

“As a singer and a performer I’m really hoping Usher can bring out parts of my vocals I haven’t even discovered yet. I’m looking to be challenged for a different sound a different run I can do with my voice. Something different.”
