Man injured in Norfolk shooting

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man was injured in a shooting Saturday night near Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk.

Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department said the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Princess Anne Road.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition, according to police.

Police said there is no suspect information available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
