Man robs pizza restaurant at gunpoint

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Portsmouth Police are looking for a man who robbed a pizza restaurant Monday.

Det. Donna O’Brien with the Portsmouth Police Department said an employee told police an unknown man displayed a handgun and took money from the manager’s office at the Dominos Pizza located in the 2600 block of Airline Boulevard around 11 p.m.

The suspect got into the passenger side of a beige vehicle, which fled the scene toward Victory Boulevard.

He is described as a black male in his early 20s standing about 5’5” and weighing about 120 pounds. He was wearing a black leather jacket and khaki pants at the time of the robbery.
