Former pastor sentenced for exposing self on web

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A former Chesapeake pastor will spend six years behind bars for computer solicitation of a child under the age of 15.

The Chesapeake Commonwealth Attorney’s Office said 32-year-old Haden Conrad was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison with 24 years suspended. He was placed on the sex offender registry and is not allowed contact with minors.

Conrad was arrested February 27, 2013 after exposing his genitals via webcam to an undercover Sheriff’s Deputy in Spotsylvania County posing as a 14-year-old girl, according to Kelly O’Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department.

Friends and neighbors told Conrad is married with two foster children, who were taken away from the couple.
