YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office says a break-in at a home last week may be connected to other crimes in the Hampton Roads area.

The break-in occurred March 11 in the 1000 block of Marlbank Drive between 9:30 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. while the resident was away. Deputies say the suspect(s) broke a window in the back of the home to get inside.

The suspects may be three male suspects in an older model maroon 4-door sedan. Two witnesses told deputies they saw the vehicle, once parked outside the home and once driving by earlier in the day with a ladder on top.

According to deputies, the break-in may be connected to a series of stolen cars and vehicle break-ins in the Hampton Roads area. Anyone with information should call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Deputies also ask residents to report suspicious activity by calling 757-890-3621.
