Coyote tests positive for rabies in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — The Peninsula Health District is warning Williamsburg residents about a rabid coyote.

The District said a coyote tested positive for rabies in the area of Cedar Grove Cemetery, located at Henry Street and South England Street.

If you were exposed to the animal, including any bites or scratches, you’re asked to call the Health Department at 757-603-4277. You can also contact Animal Control at 757-253-1800.
