VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two Virginia Beach men were indicted Monday in the murder case of Kristopher Daniel Lee.
According to Macie Pridgen with the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, Jordan Diangelo Champion, 20, was indicted for first degree murder, use of a firearm and conspiracy. His co-defendant, 20-year-old Dau-Shawn Latrez Newton was indicted for second degree murder and use of a firearm.
The two are charged with the murder of 20-year-old Lee, who was found shot to death in the College park area on October 29, 2013. Champion lives near the area where Lee was found.
Champion and Newton will appear in court again on April 8, 2014.
